How do i get rid of black dirt around the back of the neck and underarms?
I seem to be getting this black dirt it looks like on the back of my neck and underarms, when i scrub at it, it will fade out, but it never completely goes away, no matter how hard i scrub. also where my neck creases seems to be the darker spot. What is that? a doctor told me it was a sign of diabetes, but i doubt it because the rest of my family has diabetes and they all don't have the dirt like i do. Any ideas on what this may be? any others with the same problem? how should i get rid of it?
It's called insulin resistance. When I gained 60 pounds from medication, my neck, underarms, and inner thighs got really dark because insulin builds up. Try using a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol...the neck does get pretty dirty with or without an actual condition. When I lost the weight, and then some, the darkness faded (except my neck has always been a little dirty looking--rubbing alcohol does the trick).
