after watching the this is it film with michael jackson who?
also thinks he would of never made the fifty concerts. I thought he looked very frail with not so much energy.
I agree with you, there were some good moments, but the film didn't do its job in convincing me that Michael should have been doing 50 concerts.. the fact that Kenny Ortega was constantlyy talking to him as if he were a child (I mean, REALLY.) also shows that Kenny WAS of the mindset that something was "off" with Michael and while it may not have been his responsibility to take care of him, if he was his friend, I don't see why he wasn't. There were scenes were you could see Michael was happy to be there and you could see that Michael was giving his input and was not happy until they were HEARING him... but for me.. I still think this all came down to money... whether Michael needed the money... AEG WANTED the money... money instead of helping Michael. As for the film itself...I think no amount of editing could disguise how physically ill Michael looked. That he could dance as well as he could in that state was admirable, but in retrospect obviously alarming. The show itself looked like it would have been truly spectacular - certainly unlike anything I've seen before. The music sounded amazing, really fresh and better than ever. In that sense, it showcased a great legacy. You get a good sense of Michael's artistry, perfectionism and how commanding he could be in pursuit of his musical vision. But ultimately that film for me is testament to two things: how strong the music still was, and just how frail Michael had become. I have spoken with people who were working inside staple center and one a very close friend od Michael Karen Faye his personal makeup artist and it is sad to know what was really going on behind close door and when the camera were off. They knew MJ would have never completed those concerts but Randy Phillips made it clear to several people that these concerts had to happen, no matter what, because he "had to personally convince everyone at AEG that this was a good deal" therefore his job was at risk if anything went wrong. AEG Randy Phillip and Kenny Ortegacontributed towards Michael’s failing health and towards his death.

With the passing of an icon like Michael Jackson there will be a flood of interest and I am sure, sales of all things related to Michael Jackson, his brothers, Jermaine Jackson, Marlon Jackson, Tito Jackson, Jackie Jackson, Randy Jackson and his sister Janet Jackson will go crazy.
The Jackson 5 (which included Michael Jackson) were the first act in recorded history to have their first four major label singles ("I Want You Back", "ABC", "The Love You Save", and "I'll Be There") reach the top of the American charts. Several later singles, among them "Mama's Pearl", "Never Can Say Goodbye" and "Dancing Machine", were Top 5 pop hits and number-one hits on the R&B singles chart. Most of the early hits were written and produced by a specialized songwriting team known as "The Corporation"; later Jackson 5 hits were crafted chiefly by Hal Davis, while early Jacksons hits were compiled by the team of Gamble and Huff before The Jacksons began writing and producing themselves in the late-1970s.
The motives behind the appetite of the public for stars and there related items, history, memories and the like is almost unbelievable. I am not sure if the reason for such interest lies in the wanting to be like the person or wishing and fanasizing that you are that person.
Being star struck has always facinated me. I have met with some famous people and even had the opportunity to interview famous celebrities like Warren Buffett, Larry King, Jon Huntsman, Orin Hatch, Buddy Hackett, Peter Lupus, Steve Miller, the list goes on and on. But I was never "starstruck" per say. And, in every case, the person I met was so nice and down to earth.
The desires of the public eye baffles even the greatest marketers and advertisers from the world over.
Does being a princess or being Michael Jackson, make that person any more of a person or less of one? Well there are some pretty great people out there who are famous by those terms, but there are plenty of people out there who are really great and no one knows anything about them!
I think there is a market for everything related to Michael Jackson including domain names, especially now. What ever you say about the man, he was talented! We'll all miss him. Some will buy Michael Jackson domain names and use them in their marketing, I am sure.
We'll see.
